The homeowner, a professional chef and caterer, envisioned a dynamic space for cooking, smoking, dining, and entertaining throughout the year. Our mission was to create a culinary-driven outdoor environment that was both beautiful and structurally sound.
Custom Clay Brick Patio Construction
To honor the home’s historic character, we selected full-sized clay brick pavers for authenticity and durability. The patio features:

- Soldier course borders to define cooking, dining, and lounge areas
- An all-clean stone-permeable base for enhanced structural integrity

Grading & Drainage Engineering

Declining trees were selectively removed, and stumps were ground to improve site usability while maintaining the natural integrity of the yard.

We have used them for a backyard refresh and to creating a short stacked stone retaining wall to create a bed along the driveway.
